belated birthday celebration
To xw, wl and rebec:
I am glad that you all took time off to meet up with me for a belated celebration and even bought me a walnut chocolate cake. I am grateful and deeply appreciate that you all remember me despite your busy schedule. With our different paths ahead, such gatherings might be rare in future and hence, I do treasure every moment of time together with you all.
What I mentioned in the previous post is merely a small episode. Of course I understand that you all are joking about it, but I too realise how embarrassing it can be for me, in your shoes. The last sentence speaks only of a solution to this problem so that I do not impose upon you.
Please do not misunderstand and know that I only mean well.
