Picnic at Marina Barrage
It was CY's last day of internship, she was thinking how to celebrate the first day of freedom, and she said she wanted to go to places around sg that we haven't been to before. Marina Barrage came to mind and before long, we were preparing for a sumptuous but healthy picnic at Marina Barrage. I've seen photos of other picnickers and know that it will be a nice place for picnic and fun.
On Monday, teresa, cy and i made and packed food before heading off to the Barrage. It was freaking hot when we arrived at 2pm and we were desperately hoping to find a sheltered place for our picnic. However, it dawned to us that the nice patch of grass that we've seen in photos is actually the roof of the building!! Thanks to some insane people who picnicked outside at 2pm under the burning sun, there was an available bench at the sheltered area. Of course, we immediately went over to ‘chop’ our places, unpacked and began eating like hungry ghosts. After satisfying our stomachs, we finally took a good look at the beautiful scenery in front of us.

Of course, we dedicated our time there with chatters and photo-takings. It was a good time to bond and just to R&R.
